I think he was the lesser of the 3 evils tbh. Shearer has no managerial experience and probbly withdrew the application on the basis tht he wssnt offered the job but on the list of candidates. As for Sam Allardyce, I think the majority of fans would have hated him becoming manager more than anyone else do to his style of play. It just isnt Blackburn. Ince however is an up and comer, much like what Hughes was. Not only that, but he's from the same school of management as Hughes so I guess it's a waiting game.

Still think it was a bad move from Mark Hughes to leave for Man City.
