I really loved this movie. It's possibly the only good thing Farrell has been a part of since his proper debut Tigerland and Irish indie flick Intermission.
Gleeson is a talented actor who's been doing Irish indie films for years, my fave being the b/w shot 'The General'. Kevin Spacey remade it as 'Ordinary Decent Criminal' but it wasn't as good. That Gleeson came away from the stench of MI:II with any credit was an achievement in itself.
In Bruges is a character driven drama/bleak comedy which will delight some but disappoint others if you were misled by the poster of three guys with guns and the 'film about hitmen' description. Wanted, this ain't.
I recommend it.
