If the WB's play in front (not alongside) of the CB and hug the lines, then you should always have an out ball.
When UGS are attacking, the WB's push on down the lines. The CB's will push up and out, in doing so pushing DM forward to slow/break uo opposition counter attacks.
Positioning and talking are as good as pace.

this is what i was thinkin,make up for lack of pace with 3 cb's and 2 wing backs,i know for a fact ian carmicheal would do an awesome job at that
