The Evil Dead films were great!
...but films like the Omen, the 1st Halloween, the Medusa Touch, Blair Witch, Demonseed and the Excorcist are also excellent!!!
Dunno about all these new ' horrors ' with all the newer films.
Scream wasnt all that bad but films like Cherry Falls and Final Destination sucked ass!
Best recent ones i've seen have been The Hole and What Lies Beneath....not sure if you can call that a horror though!
