Snap Crackle and Pop- perth pop dance machine

Snap Crackle and Pop formed as part of a hnc college performance course at ye olde perth college. the origional members felt that bands formed within this assesment format, contained members that took everything far too seriously. where was the original idea about playing music? to entertain and have fun? to make people feel the same as you are up on the stage?

wed had enough, it was time to start a band that could deliver all of these things. while the others were arguing over songs, we were laughing, and choosing cover songs for our assesments, the cheesier the better. the original line up was not to be the final one. lead guitarist jason, and drummer/keyboardist john left the band to follow their own pursuits.

this left just laura, who moved on to full time drums, dan, who took on the full guitar duties and stepped down to backing vox, and chris on bass. the role of lead vocals was quickly snapped up by allan kerr, a highly talented young man with an outstanding voice. when we were looking for a new keyboardist, the obvious choice was pam, whos personality means more than her talent, but the fact that she has talent made her perfect.

snap crackle and pop have been going from strength to strength, writing new songs, and gaining a fan base. we are not afraid to be cheesy, we are not afraid to be too commercial and definately not afraid to admit that we draw influence from such artists as mcfly, busted, josie and the pussycats, son of dork and the all american rejects, as well as the rocket summer, the click five and hanson.

were coming to a venue near you soon, and when we do youd better have your dancing feet on, cos your not gonna be able to resst the urge to dance the night away.
