Speak Out

Sonnet65 is a five piece band from the town of Kirriemuir, birthplace of your favourite hero, Peter Pan!

In 2006 Sonnet were one of the 48 T-Break finalists, picked from over 1000 Scottish acts. They played the final heat at the Liquid Room in Edinburgh and although they unfortunately didn't make it to T in the Park, the band were able to see just what a strong local following they have.

2006 also saw Sonnet65 win the final of the Ultimate Chill, a national battle of the bands to showcase young Scottish talent.
As winners, the band recently recorded a soon to be released 5 track EP in Oban with Phil Carus.

The band recently flew to China, where they performed at the opening ceremony of the Dalian International Beach Festival aswell as performing in Beijing and Shanghai. They return ready to head out on a tour of student unions during freshers week with former Ultimate Chill winners "Ellens Glen".
