Shaq & The Suns
sorry Nico but saw this as the main article of Yahoo's NBA site..
"The Sixers beat the Suns 119-114 Saturday, Phoenix's fourth loss in six games since Shaquille O'Neal joined the lineup" |

Yup, things look dire.
I'll be the first to say that its NOT 'shaq and the suns'. Its the Suns. Shaq was brought in to provide presence and rebounding - and he's been doing both. He's also been scoring points the few times he's trusted with the ball. Steve Nash, our apparent MVP, has been turning the ball over a huge amount (6 times last night!) and they just aren't shooting well (before Allstar break they were a constant 55% or more shooting team), now they are struggling to hit 50%. They don't seem to care. Last night, the only players showing any kind of effort throughout were Shaq and Amare Stoudemire (who has been GREAT since Shaq joined) - but the two of them can't win games. Gah. We went from first in the West to a potential 7th in the West if we drop any more games. If we lose a few in a row we could drop out of the playoffs spot complete. |

He's one of the best power forwards in the league. He's spent years playing as a centre, which is why now Shaq is filling that role, he's really coming out strong, scoring 30+ in most games.
But he can't win games alone. |

Magic clinched the play-off spot last night which was pretty class, playing some good stuff just now
Atlanta, Clippers, Miami and Indiana - 4 wins too ![]() Suns got two games coming up they should win, then a brutal triple header with Houston & Detroit & Boston. |

We've got Portland tomorrow, which will always be tough but we can beat them when we play well (as we have already this season). Seattle should be a doddle, although its games like that where the Suns fall asleep and end up losing.
I reaaaaaaaaaaally hope its us that beats Houstons win streak. |
