Hell is for heroes, moshulu aberdeen

Loved this gig to bits. I've had their album and enjoyed it for ages but i've never taken the time to read the booklet or even the track listing so I don't even know the names of their songs, although i know most of the lyrics!

It was like watching an unsigned band since i had no idea what they looked like but they played like fuckin monsters! Tight as a virgins no-go hole and as powerful a band as i've seen in a long time.

Totally in awe of the performance and really loved the old tunes. I hear they've been dropped from their label and their new stuff sounds a bit like they are looking for a label again (franz and snow patrol sounds in places) which wasn't as good but still exciting.
They never did an encore although everyone expected, but meh we were all shattered anyway.

Support from succioperro (gutted i missed them) but caught most of aerogrammes set which also blew me away. can anyone recommend which aerogramme record to buy first as i have none??

Alright Parker! I'd say Story In White, their first, is better. Their second album's a lot more mellower in general. I've only got into recently, but it still isn't as good as album 1. The White Paw EP is amazing too.

Dude they ARE an unsigned band :P

I would've liked to have seen the gig but I was rocking out/DJing at the Assert gig at Dr.Drakes which (even though I love HIFH) I remain sceptical that the Moshulu gig bettered. Opinion mind.
