i also saw weezer at carling academy, and i enjoyed it, im not a massive weezer fan like but they did a good job,the subways were shite tho i thought, kicking the mic stand over? whits the point? and £18 for a tshirt! madness!

Adequate Seven, Ritalins, 40X and You Suspect! @ the Viewfield on Friday night.

All the bands were pretty good, though it was the usual story with people drifting away before the headliners. I never understand that. The place was as busy as I've seen it for a while, so it was a good night.

didnt see them recently - saw them in april but anyway....
machinehead, sepultura, darkness and within temptation - all at the Dubai Desert Rock Festival 05

it was fucking a-wall. never been so battered, drunk and fucked up in my life.
i will not forget the pit for machinehead - like a fucking battlefield, teeth all over the ground, blood, spit and sweat (and to the side, a couple shattered bodies). darkness with hawk's fucking glitter cat suit - poof looking but so fucking hilarious (he wud be after about 9 shots and tequilla worm as well as a 6 pack of beer) but hawk wasnt have a knob at the end tho - rascist cunt started talking shit about fucking slutty arab belly dancers and shit, i think we all wanted to cream the bastard - perhaps that's y he took off back to his hotel rite after the show, coward. within temptation not as good as nightwish but hey the band is boneable (well ok il take the chick first then il give head to the guys but yeah still) - music is kinda bland, rather have nightwish

the epic part of the whole gig was sepultura - they played almost all their stuff - a 3.5 hour set - got crushed and scarred at the very front, guitarist shook my hand and max (vocalist) fucking well kissed me - fucking brilliant as fuck. best fucking part of the nite rite there!!!

oh and i did see REM in germany just recently - glorious show

I was unsure how songs from the new album would sound live but sound just as good as others! plus 'worms of the universe' was played!!!! love that song.....AND Randy was at merch stand when i got stuff so got a sig for something to do!

he flew in for the show actually - the organisers drew up an agreement with the band and max put in a call to tell them that he wud specially come down for this show only!
