Wednesday: Bluetones at the Glasgow Barfly- sound wasn't great but they played a great set!
Thursday: Sigur Rós at the Corn Exchange- amazing gig! Support band Anima were fantastic and Sigur Rós themselves played a fantastic set with awesome dynamic variation. Loved it. |

melt banana supported by lapsus linguae in oran mor. melt banana were brilliant, intense and got a bit hard to listen to after an hour, but really good. drummer was insane. lapsus linguae were great too, hadnt seen them before. oran mor is pretty nice too. totally early gig though, was finished by half 9.

The White Stripes at Carling Accademy, absolute quality.I find it hard to think even another musician as good as Jack White,he just constantly running around the stage playing all types of instruments.
Seen them at Glasto but last night was amazing |

Bombskare and Misled Yoof!!!
Quality gig, took ages to get there as we got ourselves a mighty flat tire 5 mins from the venue. The Yoof were awesome and Bombskare were utterly doss min . Great crowd as well. nice night overall. got home 4am. |

The songs are poorly crafted, and poorly executed. They are an exercise in the obvious, played badly. But to some sections of the mainstream media, they are 'different' (not too different mind), therefore marketable. Hype > Talent Last edited by paul engage : 14th November 2005 at 04:00 PM. |
