last gig - taste of chaos!

mainly went to see killswitch engage, and they were awesome, as expected, with that dood from the used (who were...uhhh...too whiney) came on to do the backing for end of heartache, and i got my ass kicked in rose of sharyn/bid farewell moshpits!

all in all, a good evening

anyone else goto this? never seen anything like story of the year, throwing guitars around stage is awesome!

Seen Radiohead and Muse. Both are ace live. Never seen White Stripes but they look like fun.

...

my point was to stop a stupid fucken arguement that was going nowhere and was completely pointless.i love half of radioheads albums, hate the other half.and i find the white stripes rather mediocre, but who cares what i think cause our opinions mean feck all.

I love your opinions Ritchie.

I agree with Fritz, they're both ace live...

Getting back to the topic:

Just back from a Legeti recital performed by Simon Smith. A 22 year old pianist who played with just the right delicacy and the right menace when required. Bloody fantastic. The last Etude he played made his fingers go bright red from the sheer force he was hitting the piano...He looked exhausted after his performance. Amazing... (£2.50 to get in as well!)

Just the other week I went to see the Australian post-hardcore/metalcore band, Parkway Drive and supports. I would've loved it if we weren't so far away from the venue watching my son of a bitch friend puking up his fish and chips.

Bob Dylan, what can i say. It wasnt the best gig ive ever been to, apart from the fact the secc has a poor sound, dylan really cant sing very well anymore. He kinda grunts through the songs and he didnt play guitar just stuck to his keyboard. there were also no screens so i could hardly see him. However i cant really feel anything but sorry for him, it feels like although a great talent has been lost almost. Hes written some brilliant songs and didnt deliver them well at all, im quite let down.

...Norman Jay at the Reading Rooms.

Excellent night. Excellent tunes. Funny crowd.
Oh - it was expensive too. It was worth it though.

just back from last nights Lamb of god gig at the QMU.

Agony scene were alright, though they did seem pretty generic and the sound was shite.

Devildriver were pish, one or two songs were decent, but for the most part...no. just. no.

Lamb of god were class, played a really good set and were tight as fuck!
