saw cradle at the carling academy last night.

bad choice of venue for this one, but none the less cradle were top quality, better than i expected.

cathedral were dismal however, terrible.

Saw The Cribs on saturday night in the Glasgow QMU,absolute quality gig.First time i had been in the venue and the sound came accross well.It was a bit like a mini Barrowlands.
Support was from Black Wire who iam getting more and more fond of on every listen

the cribs sounds as though it was obviously taken from the MTV show, but it sounds daft with "the" at the start, i hope they weren't trying to name their band after the LA gang cos that's the 'Crips' not Cribs.

iam pretty certain they arent named after the MTV show or some american gang

Biffy Clyro at Fat Sams the other night. It was a great gig. Good choice of set list, playing tunes I haven't seen them do in ages. Stand out song was "All The Way Down" which made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. The support band were a bit rubbish though.

Duran Duran,SECC.best gig of my life...most amazing show ever. only problem is they have to many good songs and can't fit them all in a 2 1/2 hour set.

I have just been to see Ocean Colour Scene at ABC in Glasgow. OCS were good but there was no support band which was a bit pants, instead there was some 40 year old dj playing soul music for bout hour and a half which didn't really appeal to me. Still a good gig though.
