Reverend Horton Heat/Scotch Greens @ the Mean Fiddler.

The Rev. was in really good form; the set was long and varied, the sound was spot on and the atmosphere was excellent too. Definitely one of the most enjoyable gigs I've been to.

Scotch Greens were good, but not really my thing - the novelty of having a banjo player wore off quickly for me, but they were well-received and I've heard far, far worse.

N-Trance at the Ice Factory last Sunday. It was ravetastic, although it was more etertaining watching all the neds in the crowd rather then watching N-Trance. "Set You Free" is a classic tune.
