I have just been to see....
no one actually, but thought it would be cool to have a thread for everyone to post the gigs they have just come back from.or seen recently.
i find this a good idea because i am constantly forgetting who i've seen live, must be a sign of old age... so yeh, post away.. |

Not seen any major headlining acts in a while but i did go see 3 unsigned bands back home in Ayrshire.
First band were Spleen who are probably one of the most talented, tight unsigned bands ive seen. They like to Rock and they do it well. Second was Coven, a young upstart band with a lot of potential. Not my bag in particular but still a damn good show. Lastly, Archangel. These guys have only a guitarist, dummer and keyboard player but they make a hell of a lot of noise and are very tight. Covering Mmm-Bop tho was a bit shite. U probs meant to talk about signed bands but meh - its good to let others know whats out there. A nice idea for a thread Ritch. ![]() |

Just been to see Kaiser Chiefs - Overated baws, Bloc Party - Poor sound at start but excellent by the end, Futureheads - One trick pony, and when that trick is ripping off every Jam song ever it gets boring *really* quickly, The Killers - Seemed to be going through the motions whilst we were trapped amongst what seemed like a crowd full of Oasis fans, wasnt a pleasent experience

Went to taking back sunday last night. Was a let down, especially when you consider how amazing they were last summer.
My Chemical Romance were crap too. In fact, the first band that played as i went in were better than the other two. Kinda ironic i guess. Anyway, it was a waste of time and money. |

I saw nov zero at the reading rooms and the singer looks like Marty McFly. Their set would've been better if they'd played 'Earth Angel' too. Or maybe Huey Lewis

Saw the Manic Street Preachers at the SECC a few weeks ago. It was good.
Also saw Velvet Revolver at the SECC a few weeks ago. It was awfae gid. I took my top off & jumped about I also saw noV zero at the reading rooms. It wasnt that good. It wud have been better if the Manic Street Preachers & Velvet Revolver had played. I'm also going to see Oasis in July at Hampden. It will be good. I like Oasis. They are good. I have already seen them 4 times. They were good |
