anybody else see the eels in the carling accademy on friday night?
they were awesome.so much rockier than i expected.Support came from a fat bald guy in a suit called mc honky who done sample music stuff which was really cool.Allround a fine night of entertainment.My faveourite song was birds.The recorded version is good but live blew me away.id give the show 8 out of 10
one point deduced for the 5 fat drunk guys behind us and one point for the 3 encores which the eels had .my legs were screwed by the end

yeah they played a heavy version of novocaine for the soul which was really strange to hear but good.

mc honky is e from eels alter ego, the album is his solo album.
the second time i saw eels they covered get your freak on by missy elliot
