I just got back from the gig and even the fact that I was in a minor car accident didn't diminish the fact it was the most life-affirming and joyful experience i've ever had at a gig

I don't like comparing it with the Brian Wilson. I was right at the front of the stage, if I had been 30 rows back (as we were at Brian Wilson)then some of the magic would have been lost (though it still would have been great).
they played a couple of old songs but mostly they were from the soft bulletin and yoshimi. Do you Realize, A Spoonful Weighs a Ton and Yoshimi p1 were the highlights. Also Wayne Coyne is probably the coolest person that ever lived The minor car accident was that someone crashed into the back of us while we were looking for some place to park. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" /> |

I don't smoke dope, and I haven't tried it. The flaming lips themselves aren't some sort of drugs band either, the singer, who writes all the lyrics, doesn't do them. Has anyone heard fat lip by Sum41? |
