Here is what I thought of our gig in Kilmarnock last Saturday (25/5)-

This was the 1st time we had taken Pete's lovely H reg transit van to a gig and boy was it fun. Everytime we went into a petrol station (4 times I think) the Bastard just died, so we had to push start it everytime, so I'm really looking forward to doing that everytime we use the van.

The gig - Hhhmmm, let's just say it's not the best we've played, in fact it was goddamn awful. We hadn't practiced for 2 weeks so I'm guessing that was a key factor in how bad we played (credit goes to Tony and Dan though coz they didn't to too bad) there must have been approx 70 people there and for most of the set it seemed they were frightened to go on the dance floor, apart from the odd few who skanked their asses off. If i go and see a band I like to move to the music not just sit down and watch them, plus it was Saturday night everyone should've been dancing, boring bastards.

Plus I really like shows where - at the start of a bands set the claps and cheers are really loud then song after song these claps and cheers just fade into a couple of people clapping, maybe that just showed how bad we were, oh well.

One thing we've learned is that we need to practice ever week.

I think Pete should get a spray job on the van and have the Misled Youth logo or name on the side, with tinted windows. I think that would be cool.

He did say he wanted an MY logo on it but I don't know if he was kidding or not. A plain white transit van is quite boring.

The gig in Kilmarnock was not shite!!!! I should know cos i was there! Kev i dunno why u think it was so bad cos it wasn't. I do agree, however, that most folks there were boring bastards who wouldn't skank - grr! My friends skanked tho and i skanked as much as i possibly could with those shitty pain in the arse shoes i was wearing, which wasn't much, but at least i tried dammit! I would've danced til i passed out if it wasn't for the fact my feet were so sore

Anywaaaaays...no matter what u say Kev i still think u guys sounded good

Misled Youth are shit... All the gigs they get are flukes, and theyre just a boyband in disguise, i hate boy bands, almost as much as i hate capitalism. Misled Youth are capitalist scum, I HATE YOU... down with capitalism. I hate my life because we dont live in a communist state!
