I'm going to treat this as a followup to the Brody Dalle Guitar thread from General Discussion, and state that a) Cavalieralex let me hear the Lipsick demo and I think it's ace, and b) Brody Dalle IS an untalented shitebag, as is Courtney Love and I believe Alex made a very good point when he rattled off that list of talented female musicians who didn't have to be 'girl musicians', they just... were. there are bands in Scotland and the rest of the world who are excellent, and feature semi/full female lineups, but don't make an issue of being the 'struggling female artist', and THAT'S what a role model is.
