A new ned word
Apparently im a pure ticket by the way. Thats what a ned called me in central station today when i quickened my pace after hearing him say "Here mate, gonnae dae us a favour?". No chance matey!

Anyway, im guessing it was an insult from the aggresive delivery but what does that mean when someone calls you a ticket? I wondered about this all the way home on the train and i cant think what the chap meant?

They just make words up, quite a lot of the time. One day I wore pink tights to school and I was walking past a gang of neds when one yelled "Pinkster, ged!" I enjoyed this random insult and it somehow stuck and now I am referred to by a lot of my friends (pure tickets, the lot of them) as the Minky Pinkster. Hooray!
