I'm going to be controversial here, but I personally think In Flames material from Lunar Strain and Subterranean pisses all over their later output from a great height. They used to be a fantastically good melodic death band, and while they're still good, they're not a patch on what they were.
Very few people seem to agree with me though. From what I heard after Subterranean, they switched a lot of band members around, and the singer is now in Dark Tranquility. (another class band if you've not heard them) |
