my new country

so me and gibby were talking last nite about how i'm stupid for being vegetarian and i was telling him that i was gonna start a new socialist, vegetarian paradise which would go like this...

1) i would firstly get myself elected on really sensible policies and have a huge government majority

2) i would pass a bill quietly saying all living things in my country were equal (like animal farm, the book not the porn film)

3) i would have a referendum saying prisons and boarding schools should be abolished, and all my like-minded MPs would vote for it

4) i would say "well under my everything is equal rule, factory farms and slaughterhouses must all be abolished"

5) i would make it still ok to kill or eat any animal you could catch yourself

6) under my everything is equal rule, it would also be ok to kill all the murderers and rapists i released from the prisons i just abolished - problem solved

now all i need is a trusting, liberal country to take power in - i'm thinking Switzerland. what does everyone else think?

I think that if everyone's equal then you cant tell them what to do.
Also, would the murderers and rapists not be equal, too?

hahaha that's what i said, his plan has lots of flaws in it, he missed out the part about "people would vote me into power because i'd campaign to free all the prisoners and people would like that idea"
