as much as i love adam sandler, i thought anger management was very average, and mr deeds ( the performances from steve buscemi and john turturro aside) was just plain crap.

my only real criticism of his movies (and make no mistake, they are brain candy in its simplest form)most of them tend to be a little too sickly sweet and twee. i mean the ending to billy madison is cringeworthy.

He's phenomenal in Punch Drunk Love though.

Here's hoping 50 first dates is a welcome return to form... its gotta be good! its got dan akroyd in it!

A couple of his films are funny but they all have the same bloody format - He always has to learn something (golf/looking after kids/goingback to school blah blah) and goes through tests then in the end he learns something about himself. Its slightly annoying.

Steve Martins best film was Trains, Planes, automobiles methinks
