Dundee in GTA!

for anyone who wants to check, as you drive towards the Airport, eventually you'll see the billboards on the right, it's the furthest North of the lot!

aparently theres a poster somewhere in the game with the same thing but smaller. like the city of discovery things u see in dundee.

Ill correct you. The first two were made in Dundee by DMA design. The publisher of these games - Rockstar, then bought over DMA, and they became Rockstar North. The Offices were relocated to Leith, near Edinburgh, and GTA3 and Vice City (where the poster appears) were made there.

Hardly any of the Orignal DMA staff still work there, they have all started there own companies - such as Real Time Worlds, Denki and Visual Sciences (all in Dundee)

Ok, Like a lot of early games built between 85 - 95 GTA was made by Dundee design team DMA (Also made Lemmings ext.. now changed there name to rockstar) DMA was app a really shit company to work for (I have 2 friends who used to work there)

The demo for the first GTA (first one with the birds eye veiw) was set in Dundee. I remember playing it, driving about the city centre running people down.

same difference, it was still made in dundee at one point, hence the connection.

Cannie mind, just remember them saying they used to work there and they got fucked over when they made Lemmings 2 the tribes.

I think they were graphic designers and they only got like £6000 / £7000 for a years work on the game.

If anyone else noticed, theres hidden things in GTA, GTA2, GTA3 aswell as vice city about Dundee

Like i said earlyer, the demo for gta1 was set in Dundee.
