This is more of a serious one. would you rather it was gone, the sender's name was given or just keep it the way it is?. take into account that when people ask for your opinion and dont like it you are stormed with mystery abuse rep points

keep it as it is
nobody will use it if its not anonymous, and mystery is what makes life exciting. if people really care that much about someone they don't know giving them a bad rep on an internet forum then they need to learn to put things into perspective. Its just a bit of fun

I'd like to know who gives me bad rep sometimes, not because it bothers me but because i dont understand why i got it in the first place. If someone starts a thread asking for ur opinion, and you give it, and get a bad rep for it, it seems a bit daft to me. Especailly when ive given my opinion i havent been nasty or anything along those lines at all.

I say keep it the same. If people don't have the requisite confidence in their own convictions to leave their names when they give bad rep, that's their problem. People wouldn't give as much rep if it wasn't anonymous. If you don't like the system, disable it.

Keep it the way it is but replace the clear rep points bit with just a one good rep point or one bad rep point

AltNation is the perfect example. They started letting people see who gave them rep and NO-ONE gives negative rep at all now. To be honest, we don't really need rep but i like it because it acts as an extension to my penis. And i need it

keep it. If you don't like it just disable it(you can still do that can't you?).

It's not exactly hard to ignore because no matter what it says it just boils down to someone being a bell-end on the internet. ie, no big deal.
