song subjects

ok, i've written a shitload (well, a few) of songs and i'm stumped for lyrics, so give me some ideas or post lines etc.
Note: no lyrics about girls (we have enough). Preferably to the standard as Eddie Vedder, Chris Cornell, Jello Biafra, Neil Young or the guy that writes for Propagandhi please. Close enough will do.
Also, nothing stupid like how Dan once wrote a song about a coathanger (yes, the thing used to hang a coat upon).
I've got a song completed about Layne Staley. tis rather nice methinks

How peoples opinions of you change for good and for bad, and how annoying and frustrating it can be when you have to bother your arse to organise gigs and stuff... (no wait, we bother with doing that, you dont) but still, must be hard writing all these songs all the time and acting cool, posing for photos and stuff. Write about that, and how you have first years stalking you around the school and all the way home, but theyre underage and you cant pull em. And how ironic it is that when youre famous and have outgrown the scene, its harder to get gigs unless you go to the next stage where you play clubs and stuff. And when you say youre bored of Cupar you get ppl saying youve sold out and got too big and stuff, its a hard life isnt it gerard? You fans dont know what its like being a rock star. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
And as usualy, im kidding

this is why i let gerard write the songs.... and theyre NOT about coathangers any more

how out writing one about the coat that lies upon the coathanger?! subtely different eh?! i really think that ppl shoudld write big epic poems for gerard and then he can use them as lyrics and not only will u hav the knowladge that YOU wrote that chug song, we will also put it in the inlay when we make the cover, it will say "all songs written by chug, except * written by _______" how special eh?! so get sendin them into gerard or dan so that u can make ur mothers proud!

Theyre hard to come by these days arent they? Nice ideas with the whole coat thing, i have a nice coat that deserves a songwriting thingy... a song thats it. And im never ever going to write another song. Not "until tomorrow" anyway.
