Best of the 4
From loads of magazine articles I've read it seems that over in the u s of a that the four pioneering bands of thrash metal at their peak in the mid eighties had alot to do with evolving heavy music today. So just want to get peoples opinions and reasons for who they think was the best at gettin across to people and influencing them. I've done this before but got a really poor response so hopefully more will be shared this time through.
My choice has to be megadeth out of the lot of them for being out-standably the best musicians of the group and definately as most people say NOT a 'wattered down metallica' considering the fact that hetfield used mustaines writing style and made the mechanix intyo a shambles by vreating the 'four horsemen' (still a good song but the mechanix is far superior ) |

That was a hard one. Metallica's old stuff slays megadeth, but megadeth slay metallica's newer stuff...
But i dont think anyone can argue with The Horsemen, One, MoP and Fade to Black. Metallica win, lol. |
