Eels are now 'unsigned'

Eels have left Interscope records, over a disagreement about how Eels albums should be made. Eels were signed to Dreamworks records, which was recently bought over by Universal, leaving Dreamworks in the Interscope Records umbrella. This saw the departure from Dreamworks of Mo Ostin and Lenny Waronker, who had high up positions at Dreamworks and gave E and Eels alot of freedom.

However, this does not change the plans to release a new album in 2005.

when I first posted this thread, I thought that I might get a couple of wankers making really un-original jokes... but then I thought, nahh, no-ones that pathetic.

But I was wrong. So I deleted the offending posts.

And if anyone wants to make those jokes to my face, they're more than welcome. But I'll kick their ass.

Pathetic and unoriginal....hmm. That's a strange accusation to level at somone else when you named your band after a totally pathetic song, by a totally unoriginal band.
There was nothing offensive in my post whatsoever, rather you chose to be offended by the fact I was right. YOU ARE NAMED AFTER A PISH COUNTING CROWS SONG. The phrase 'you made your bed' springs to mind.

Oh and btw Gord, who are you trying to kid ? Kick ass ? That'll be right. You couldn't kick shite off your shoes.

Actually I can't remember why now. But no, if it bothered me then I would have deleted the second one too. Our band is named after a shit song, yes. But I still think it's a pretty cool band name. The fact that it was a shite song is irrelevant.
