Yes you see true christians actually know what they are talking about, unlike you. The parts to which you refer about homosexuality allegedly being wrong, which I have already addressed and they could be intrepeted as in your defence if nothing else, are what constitutes the old covenant of God and Man.
When Jesus died this covenant became obsolete and the new covenant was the place to be. (So christians believe)

Your posts are all aimed at provoking arguments, in fact I sometimes wonder if you and Thee Alex are having a bet as to who can cause the most arguments and become the most unpopular member of the board.

As per usual quotes from the bible are being taken out of contect/and or bits being missed out of them. It says that if your faith was even the size of a peanut you could move mountains ! It is asking the reader to question how much faith he really has. You've already said you couldn't give a flying fuck about what the bible says about homosexuality. Ignorance is indeed bliss as you have proved to us all.

But it's quite clearly not a metaphor, it quite clearly says

"I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "Move from here to there" and it will move."

"And Jesus said unto them ... , "If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to younder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you."

Especially when you consider that the Bible is quite clear about when Jesus is telling a parable. I personally think it's a bit suspect to discard bits of the bible as methaphor, when ever it contradicts what we see in everyday life. Like for example, how some christians dismiss the creation story as just a parable, despite it not saying anywhere in the bible that it is just a parable.

Can we just randomly dismiss bits of the bible as being a metaphor whenever we find a way to prove it wrong?

Look this is getting far too close to a serious debate, I was only posting this to wind up gayandproud. I hate "your relgious beliefs are wrong, NO YOURS ARE WRONG" style debates as much as anyone. This is just what I believe, take it as you will.

It takes alot to wind me up, sunshine. I'm not that fussed weather you choose to accept me or not. Obviously I have created a buzz of excitment of sorts by becoming a member of this borad. Dont try and deny it- evry thread i create goes on for several pages with many people getting involved and getting quite passoniate about things.

Should i care that one insignificant person on these boards doesn't like me? No. For his opinion matters not to me. There is only one person I would follow regardless and He loves me more so that makes me feel right and justified.

I sense alot of the unwahsed heathens (to think of a better phrase) are trying t osabotage my apprecaiton thread- no doubt jealous of my importance espically since i've only been here for a bleating flicker of an eye.

Now, lets have some more positivity here. God knows this place needs it and I could be the saviour of this forum.
