The Return of The Youth

Hello people,

Things have been rather quiet on here lately, but that will change as of NOW!!

Misled Youth have risen from the ashes and we playing our 1st shows in AGES this weekend -

28th Aug @ North Berwick Skate Comp w/Pummel etc.....

29th Aug @ The Mercat, Edinburgh w/Eastfield and Los Destructos *TBC*

30th Aug @ Bannermans, Edinburgh w/ Mr Z and Domestic Discipline

Of course this means that we're all bass playered up again, but if you wanna see who the unlucky person is, come to one of the shows and you'll find out

I'm not going to disclose his name for legal reasons, so like I said come to the gigs and see for yourself, however..........it's not Pete back in the band if that's what your thinking!

In other news, we drove passed Kirriemuir last night. It looks like a lovely wee place!

Yeh hopefully we can get back up to Aberdeen soon, it's been too long!!

And Kirrie might look like a lovely wee place, but looks are very decieving

OK, a Howard's Alias & MY gig has to go ahead up here! So I sent Paul from Kef a lovely, chummy, ass-licking PM asking him to get you up. So if he doesn't fall for that... :P

Oh, it *was* dark when we were driving... hehe!

hey kev i think the wayriders are looking for a dundee gig at the end of october that i'm meant to be doing. so if they are i'll put you on the bill if you fancy it. along with us and matts band.

Cool cool Andrew, we're definitely up for that gig!!

Anyway, the all new look Misled Youth graced the stage for the 1st time in 7 weeks this weekend............and it felt so good to be playing gigs again, my passion for looking like a fool on stage is still there

1st gig was at the North Berwick skate comp, and what a gig to have as a come back gig, the gig was held outside next to the skate park and the sun was shining, so it was a bloody amazing gig...............but I think it'll be remembered more for all the drunken madness afterwards (courtesy of Buckfast), our van will never be the same again!

2nd and 3rd gigs were both in Edinburgh, and were both really good too, despite being a tad overly tired from the North Berwick escapades, but like I said it just felt good playing live again.

Thanks has to go out to our bassist - SKELLY, who did a marvelous job considering we've only had 2 weeks practice!!

What a weekened!!!!!!!!!!! North Berwick was ace! My apologies to any one there who i may have embarrassed or pissed off. Not sure where those bruises came from. Huge thanx to Ali and the Pummel guys who put me up and organised the event.

So when we doin it again?? If anyone wants to see misled youth live and then watch them make asses out of themselves email us and we'll happily oblige.
