I have to post a watch, it's in a jiffy bag, and it's very small, and very light, can I stick it in a postbox with a 1st class stamp ?

Or will I still have to take it into the post office ?

well, you can but the person at the other end will probably have to pay something for it.

if it weighs more than 60g then it'll cost more than 28p
up to 100g - 42p
up to 150g - 60p
up to 200g - 75p
up to 250g - 88p

I pass a postie every morning when I'm walking to school and half the time it's playing that 'my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard' song. By that pop person. But I can't remember what her name is. But the posties a bit weird.

My postie is lovely, i see him on the way to the bus stop and we always have a wee chat. sometimes i see him sitting on this bench in a park outside my house with a bacon sarnie+a cup of tea from the bakers. He's always very jolly, like the jolly pocket postman

My postie runs crazily up and down driveways and shoots off at the speed of light in his van. And he only goes about 10 metres to another driveway... He's got a shaved head and funny earrings and stuff and he walks funny. He doesn't speak either.
