'ONE pound a week will supply water for an entire village in Tanzania', says Oxfam. So how come United Utilities charge me twenty pounds a month for my three bedroom semi? The fleecing bastards

Because Oxfam want more than one person to donate. If you went to Tanzania every week and gave a village a pound, they wouldnt just have water all of a sudden.

Anyway, aren't some villages bigger than others?

i just hate paying for my water when i stay in scotland and there is an abundance of fresh water..............i just hate paying bills!
