they are banned in many public places. It's not just camera phones though, they just ban "mobile phones" so you're not allowed it out even if it has no camera.

places included: Schools, Sports Centres etc.

I think it's places where there are children and stuff, you're not allowed cameras. I think it's cos it's illegal to take photos of under 16s without their parents' written permission or something like that. Unless it's for educational purposes.

I knew this really dodgy guy who used to take err zoomed in pictures of womens chests. He even did it of a m8s gf. i mean ffs!

I say ban picture phones. They are just open to complete misuse. don't even flash so you never know people are taking photos of u.
