Well folks! fuck me with a shopping trolly and call me vincent! Fat wreck have apparently threatened free downloading websites with legal action!

Punk torrents and a few others have been closed down following the action from fat....who say its due to their bands not earning enough!

also a guy from the red scare label said it was beacuase of punk torrents,which correct me if iam wrong hasnt even been up for a year.. that one of his bands...namely - enemy you...havent been able to realease their album for six years! (perhaps the fact that they are shite has got something to do with it?)

Seems being the second biggest "underground" *ahem* punk label has gone to their heads (might explain all the pish they have been signing lately too?)

Surely Mr Fat Mike should go read over the lyrics he wrote for dinosaurs must die?

Ok Fat Wreck Chords have some ace bands but they also have aload of pish.And I think fame's gone to Fat Mikes head which is probably why Nofx's new album sucks so fucking bad!

Looking at punk torrents again (its back up

) I noticed the following post by a mod:

"No one from Fat Wreck, definately not any bands or Fat Mike, had anything significant to do with the temporary closure of the download sections. They have not - and did not try to - shut down this site."

Confused the hell outta me seeing as PunkHC Tracker doesnt want any more Fat bands uploaded on its site due to what happened to punk torrent sites

I noticed that aswell, PunkHC trackers been up and down like a frickin yo-yo over the last few days, i dont see how mp3's are gonna stop a band from selling anything, thankfully i already have all the mp3's from the fatwreak bands i like, mainly being SOIA, but wait, thats because i bought the albums, ach fuck legal action, fuck these anti-torrent wanks

Yeah. I don't beleive in calling any band sellouts, because it's their music and their lives so they can do what they want.

i'd say if it weren't for the internet bands like rise against, strung out and various other fat bands would not have been as successfull as they have been, word of these bands travels over, people go "fuck me this is awesome" then buy the record...its all just a case of trial and error with the internet and music. as long as propagandhi don't give a fuck that i'm gonna download the new album just as i pre-order it then all is well.

Well turns out it was nothing to do with Mike. It was a guy at Fat who e-mailed Punk torrents and asked for stuff to be removed and said he had the Fat attorney involved but turns out its all BS.

Mike and the company had nothing to do with it but he knew that some bands didnt like p2p so he sent an e-mail trying to scare and stop the downloads. Fag or what.

Well just thought I'd clear it up
