Anyone know why the Odeon in douglasfield is shut?
Aparently they shut abruptly at 7pm yesterday and the only reason they'd give was 'technical difficulties'. this was while some poeple were viewing a movie.
They also informed the fitness place attatched to them that they were closing down for the night and that it's up to them if they want to shut too, again, wouldn't give a reason. Anyone have any info? |

The whole place was built by cowboys. The roofs leak, the toilets constantly over flow and there's massive cracks in the walls especially where the air conditioning is in the projection box. It wouldn't surprise me if it was a combination of these things. Next time you're in have a look at the big Odeon sign above the escalators you can see one of the massive cracks towards the "ON" of the sign. Alternatively go out the fire exit of Odeon 9 and be horrified at all the dead flies.
