Igloos!

Today some friends and I made an iglooo! It was fucking great. At school on wednesdays we finish at lunch time and we have huge grounds so all the guys made snow chairs and sat and watched while us girls made a huge big igloo! then the boys took it over.....

I felt like a real live eskimo. and i was head architect. so yeah... anyone ever had any crazy igloo experiences?

My father built me an igloo when i was wee.

It was great. We used an ice cream tub to fashion the snow into bricks. I'm sure my mum will have a photo somewhere.

I made one when i was a kid - In Irvine, were down by the coast so we dont see much snow but the time when i built it it had snowed pretty much all day.

It was ace!

i made an igloo today too. my first job was wall smoother (

). that got boring. So i was given the job of 'morale builder' (they told me to stand still+tell them they were doing a good job and hand out encouragement

). But that also got boring, so i decided to do some *real* work and began building the blocks+such - turned out i was the only person who understood the concept of it having to slope in in order for it to have a roof! (

)
Anyway, in the end we got bored+jumped on it+destoyed it and it was mighty fun! (y)

me and a friend made one in the firestation when i was wee, there was fucking loads of snow(most snow in kirrie i can remember) and the firestation had been ploughed so we dug a big hole in the snow at the sides, it was huge, and just as good as a proper igloo.

snowholes rock.

I made one in my back garden once, it was pretty cool. Then a cat came along and pissed on it, so I didn't want to go near it after that.

I've never built an igloo myself, I feel deprived.

but there were some kids who were trying to build one at school today, and then when it was ever-so-nearly finished loads of folk charged it and squished it and turned it into a snowball fight. ah well.
