some advice desperatly needed!!

i really need some help and i would greatly appreciate it, I have been living wiht my bf for about the last 6 months and everything at first was going great..it was like heaven...but in the last month things seemed to have changed. theres hardly any sex or conversation anymore. He goes out wiht his work mates quite alot and whenever i suggest coming along he always makes excuses and that i wouldnt get along wiht them. I also found out that he carries condoms in his wallet which is very strange cos we dont use them cos we are both clean.
when he comes home late at night he never tells me even the names of the people who he's with let alone what he does. so one night i deceided to find out who it is he's been seeing so i hid behind my car to watch him getting dropped off when i noticed some rust developing around the wheel trim.

so my question is..should i take it to a garage and get it fixed professionally or try and repair it myself

i heard the arnold clark garage on dock street is pretty good
