my poundland pedometer

i dunno if thats what its actually called, but its a little electronic device that i got from poundland that counts how many steps you take.
Not the most accurate thing in the world, but pretty close. Today i've taken 10613 steps since getting dressed.
i've forgotten what my original point was gonna be.

Yeah it's a pedometer. They aren't greatly accurate unless you are jogging at a steady pace really. Obviously you have to input your stride length and it works merely by the natural up and down movement you have when you walk/jog. Hence if you aren't taking steps to your full stride length you get the wrong distance reading. Similarly if you start sprinting your stride length increases and it would be inaccurate then. I see it more as a psychological kinda crutch to sorta show yourself that you are running X amount of miles and it's doing you good or something.

i dunno about that, it cost a pound, its a battery, a screen and a reset button. it counts everytime it gets a jolt.

i also aquired a poundland pedometer (ta mike) and i am happy to report that today between 9am and 6pm (the hours i worked) i took 9,982 steps.

dave latto has one and he took it to bar code last thursday, it was as unacurate as the most unacurate of unacurate things....

a whole lot of fun though...
