Personally I dislike the libertines quite a lot. Just seems uninspiring rubbish to me but meh. I think my opinion was swayed by seeing their vid on Kerrang as my first libertines experience and seeing them live just annoyed me. But each to their own

i can only comment on singles but i quite liked the songs i heard from the first album, must have been a couple of years ago. they had a certain charm, just really dirty and loose stuff but catchy tunes. i thought it was a shame the second album was released as it was to cash in on the whole pete (and carl of course, to a lesser extent) thing when it sounded unfinished and basically in an embryonic form compared to the first.
