How I wish there were still a girls forum.

Ok, I have decided I can't deal with shaving my legs EVERY day, so I am pondering whether to invest in an epilator.

I just would like some advice from anyone who owns one, or has used one, as to if it is worth the money? I've never even had my legs waxed, and I go a bit cry baby when plucking my eye brows, so is an epilator for me?
I've been reading some reviews, and most people have said it's not that sore, but the lady in Boots told my mum that it is really painful and suggested a ladyshave instead. But I WANT BALD LEGS FOR 4 WEEKS.

* for any men reading this, we all know this is a lie, and females don't even have hair on their legs. Ever.

I'm fed up of shaving. Do epilators work on face hair?

I've read that the ice pack one is just a waste, as the ice pack gets in the way, and thaws out far too quickly. Someone suggested just using a bag of frozen peas on your legs first.

Well, I guess I shall know by tonight, as my mummy just bought me one.
I can withstand a certain amount of pain for hair-free legs for 3-4 weeks in the summer.
And they do work on facial hair it says, although they recommend not using it all over your face. lol

And for those of us who like to fake it. I;m talking about tan of course ladies
The wonderful epilator will not remove your fake tan like a shaver, meaning you can maintain a nice brown glow on your legs all summer long. Yipee!

With 32 rotating tweezers of course!
Well, I done half my leg earlier, and it's no where near as sore as I imagined. It's quite scary when you first turn it on because the tweezers look like a macabre sort of roating head full of razors, but I was fine. It gets quite nippy down near the ankle, and on hairs that are a little longer, but it passes after a second.
Afterwards your leg just feels sort of tingly, although you are left with little red bumps where the hair has been pulled from. Most people say these go down within a few hours, so it may be best to do this the night before.
Anyway, I am converted to epilators. I don't know how I lived without one for so long.
But I have no idea how ANY woman can use one on her bikini line.

But I am sure you are all satisfied knowing half of my leg is now completely hair free.

What's with all these new contraptions if they're still gonna be painful. Vanity has it's price, whether that be the pain of waxing or the boredom of constant shaving you may as well just pick one until someone invents a pain-free, cost-effective, time-saving way of hair removal.

if you used it on your face with a proper 'manny' beard, you'd probably end up with a bright purple face for a week and loads of boils.

They're not new, it's just the first time I had tried one.
And I don't know, but wouldn't laser hair removal be fairly painless? I have no idea so if this is a completely stupid idea, I apologise.
