it sounds the exact same as these free ipod things: you forward it to your friends, i think the company makes money off ads in the emails, once this equals the money for an ipod/laptop + probably some profit, they send one to the first person on the list, so if it takes 1000 emails to be sent before they send one to one person, if you're the 1000th, there'll need to be 1000000 emails etc... it's basically a scam.

(this is all a slightly uneducated estimation gathered from things i think i picked up around the place...)

Not only do you need to sign up to an offer but other folk need to too.

Edit: plus the "free one" has gone leaving just some more pricey ones. I conteomplated going for weight watchers (lol for me) being the cheapest but chances are i wont get 25 people to sign up to the stuff.

Apparently what you do is sign up to try a trial offer, the easiest one is online DVD rentals, once they send you the 5 free ones you cancel it and don't pay a penny, get 5 friends to do the same and you get it. For your 5 friends to get one, each of them has to get 5 friends to try it.

A friend of mine signed me up and EVENTUALLY he got a new ipod, there's a UK based information site that explains all... www.ipods scam.co.uk.
He had to wait about 2 months but got a 60gb Photo Ipod worth about 270 notes, and all it cost him was a tenner bet with a bookie as well as sucking my cock so I could look like an asshole on the internet
