Well it appears, just out of september, the holiday season is upon us. Rather than my usual complaining about the fact everything starts so early etc etc i'm gonna say something nice.

PRETZELS! And that maxi stuff with lots of little snacks you can only get at christmas. Well when i made my big monthly tesco.com shop i was able to buy loads of this stuff to eat instead of the usual assortment of crisps.

References to christmas suck in October, and I hate the way it's forced upon us in the shops so soon. I have nothing nice to say about goddamn christmas, especially since half the halloween display gets replaced with christmas items even before halloween has happened, and halloween sweets are so much better. In fact, halloween is so much better in so many ways, you get to terrorise people and only have to give out a few sweets instead of big, expensive presents, and big bonus, you get to talk with the dead mwahahahaha

haha i have to agree with this, i am a complete "bah humbug" when it comes to xmas. I love the actual day but i hate the build up and the stress with money and knowing what to get people

I have took out another loan for xmas this year cos the family is kinda extended now and i just cant afford it all. Call me scrooge! haha but yeah halloween is great fun, no presents to buy!!! hehehe oh and ducking for apples!! haha

yeah i know what u mean. this is the first time i've actually said something good about xmas in some time! Maybe cos i got hooked on pretzels over the summer from sainsbury's and tesco metro & online didn't stock many/any until now.

TBH I'm not a fan of any holiday season, although they all have benefits of an excuse to drink, not that i need that, plus good food. Would be nice if the "holiday season food" was stock all year and holidays were, as the name implies, a day.

i agree with that, hmmm pretzels rule!! do you remember the chocolate covered ones that were out a wee while ago, white chocolate and milk chocolate ones!!! mmmmmmmm yum

Couldn't have put it better myself, Halloween is gonna be big in our house, but then, so is Christmas, aslo, me and all my mates are usually skint at Christmas time, so we have our own celebration, Critemite, in June!

i love giving gifts more than getting them so i LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE christmas, you bunch of miserable sods ya!

and pretzels? pffft richard ive been eating them for months and months...you get great penn state ones in asdas

ive been eating big tins of twiglets as soon as they came into stock in tescos

well i was eating them over the summer but in the metro tesco and online i couldnt find them untill they had a christmas food area. ASDA is too far to walk.

I am having trouble thinking of any christmas-related food that I actually like, ooh apart from mince pies

shit I have blown my "I'm not going to say anything nice about christmas"
but anyway who decided that mince pies are for christmas? I would say they are a fabulous winter food full of energy and goodness heh.
anyway christmas was stolen from the pagans and re-named, along with all the original symbolism, the hoodwinking bible-bashing bastards
