& Brians sound
George is like Frankensteins monster.
& that wee monkey man that follows Brian around.....who know's.
& there's another guy there who is jus an old knob, we jammed in there & the guy asks us to keep the noise down, Its a fuckin studio!!!

i was about to reply to ally when i realised the thread had now moved on and i wasnt gonna say much anyway!lol. oh well. at least it is a space, i suppose, and they do have gear of some kind. which is all u really need, its just that we are all rawk-stars and they cannot satisfy all our outlandish demands simultaneously!lol

well we just went 2 riptide and it was really good...no sluts feeding me grapes but john from indica(the most amazing band ever by the way)was there so thats almost as good!!!MORE DISTORTION!!!

allrighty, Jamie, the drummer fae Ghosts Of The American Dead (it's shit having a long band name that won't fit into your username along with your own name!) anyway, yeah, DMW. I've had some serious shit regarding the amature running of the studios in the past and i've come to answer the question, "who's the wee monkey man??" his name's 'Michael' or "Dirty Mikey" wee call him. Hahaha, he's such a fucking waster. yeah, Mikey's an asshole but i get on with Brian and George, they have done alot for us and probably alot of the bands who complain about them on this forum (even though they double book people all the fucking time!!) but yeah, shit happens, but they seem like they mean well. Yeah, as a drummer, i have no problem because i have my own cymbals and i use their Mapex double pedal, so i'm sorted, unfortunate for those without cymbals who have to use the shitty broken ones, but it really isn't their fault, it's the fault of those amature wee fucks who nail the cymbals with all their 're-pubesant might' and break them. But yeah, Shadey guys who mean well (except Dirty Mikey!) and they could do with a few tips on how to run a buisiness, but who gives a fuck when you're getting rehersals with Marshal JCM 2000's, Trace Elliott Bass heads and a Pearl Drumkit for £4.50 an hour tops.

Me and Burny have been going to DMW since before it properly opened (early 2000) when we were in Mollycoddle
George recorded our first demo in summer 2000
Anyone wanna hear it? it was really pish
We were going when it was just George doing the whole thing, and he was cool
But he aint so cool these days

sorry man but that place has been open for years!
my dad know's george really well for years now,
my dads mate actually had the idea for the DMW, it woz him & george 2 work together but George basically went back on his word, & took the business.
