The elitist group that go to clubs and gigs annoy me
they hang to the left of the stage and watch everyone dancing..
if someone is into a song (that is not hardcore)they will sidle up to dance with them ... but of course cause it is "well funny" they will windmill etc ( you know all the cool hardcore moves) and just generally get in the way
basically mocking the person who is trying to have some fun
then there are the ones who are so self obsessed and l33t they listen to their ipods to cover the music that is actaully playing
*wanks*

grrrr.. they wind me up

When I was in New York in the summer I went to an 'alternative club' - the punks, emo/hardcore kids, metallers, indie-types, skins, stoners....whatever genre you name were all in seperate groups. rather strange.

New york is big enough, that they can have about three or four industrial clubs going every weekend.

Dundee can barely sustain the numbers for one industrial night a month.

Needless to say, I am very jealous

I can't remember the exact number of industrial clubs, I just remember that it was an insane number, from the perspective of someone that's used to the UK music scene

i think in America people are not afraid to express themselves, that why things like that are popular, there are alot people that are into that and that will go and mix with others. Its not like that in some parts of the UK, people dont express themselves as much as they perhaps would like.

I love plugging in to a big muff.

*ahem*

Sorry.

My favourite stereotype is the 'punk rocker'. You know the type, six foot tall mohawk, clothes that weigh a ton due to all the studs and chains and spikes and stuff. Usually found listening to bands with names like 'The Wankers' and 'Punchyerpuss'. Commonly spotted swigging from bottles of cheap cider. They tend to be unemployed, presumably because they've no time for a job as it takes them seven hours a day just to get their hair sorted for a night of spitting at other people.

Oh my god, that one is so true.... I know people like that.

I hate the blender, the one who's really a fan of yellowcard, blink 182 or the chillis but will hear others in the room slate it so will go along with what they like the 'I like everything' or 'I like whatever' asshole. Imagining that becasue they own 3 radiohead albums they're rock.... pisses me off.

Characterised by bland clothing, often wearing topman, or a cord blazer or seen trying to mix 3 different clothing styles. With a false grin, trying to make eye contact for a rough idea of what their own reaction should be...and experimentally nodding their head.

Hey cockbite, we don't have to be music buddys, we can have a conversation about something totally other than music....and I'm hardly gonna start a conversation with someone I'm looking to not like am I?
