You hate the guy who wears plain clothing, isn't massively opinionated with regards to music, and who feigns a grin when meeting people he doesn't know?

Why term this person "blender" instead of "completely reasonable person who isn't really that much a scene cliche as 95% of people are actually like this".

No I'm taking about the one who's incredibly akward, feels and looks it and is so busy trying to please everybody they're just an act. I actually get pissed off by people who conform to the image their music taste is identified with. I'm lazy, I like practicality... not all posers wear topshop.

For me, it’s the New Metaler / college know it all hippie.

Similar to the elitists, but these people will only associate with people who share the same feelings on how cruel fate and nu-metal has shaped their life.

These people enjoy getting ‘wasted’ and complaining about how evil corporations are taking over the world and how terrible life is in general. They appear to be deeply concerned about these issues but instead of making a move to fight their cause, they continue to sit together getting ‘Wasted’.

They will also attempt to tell people how they should live their life. Here is an example conversation:

Regular Person: Damm I’m hungry, I’m of to subway for some grub
Nu-metaler: Oh no, you cant go there.
Regular Person: Why not? I like subway, their hoorven taste
Nu-metaler: But there a corporation, they want to bring you down
Regular Person: What?
Nu-metaler: Yeah, we don’t need them, for too long, the corporations have bled the world of its love and resources! It is time for us to get to work and make the world a better place! And we're gonna start
Regular Person: What?
Nu-metaler: Yeah man, the corporations. Right now they're raping the world for money!
Regular Person: ok…..
Nu-metaler: By not going to subway we're proving we don't need corporations. We don't need money. This can become a commune where everyone just helps each other.
Regular Person: Eh?
Nu-metaler: Yeah, we'll have one guy who like, who like, makes bread. A-and one guy who like, l-looks out for other people's safety.
Regular Person: You mean like a baker and a policeman?
Nu-metaler: No, can't you imagine a place where people live together and like, provide services for each other in exchange for their services?
Regular Person: Yeah, it's called a town.
Nu-metaler: You just haven't been to college yet.

What these people don’t know, is that they are fuckwits trying to give their lives some meening, when really they should be out there looking for a job.

In the past few weeks, I've noticed a good few males in their early 20s with Artic Monkeys tshirts. For some reason seeing this annoys me terribly, even though I don't hate/love the band.

I dont like "indie girls" who try to be oh so cute and original.

And they see a set outfit in a magazine under look like sienna miller,

and go and buy it all.

and then wear it and try to look like they are all natural, and also try and look as if they have been wearing the same outfit for a week having just gone in and out of gigs and drunk cider because they are well rock n roll and obv dont have normal lifes just cute fantasy rock n roll lives.

yeah.

I agree. That and "coke-chic".

And girls that put a lot of work into looking wacky and kitsch and act like "Check me, I'm wearing this wacky kitschy stuff, I'm so wacky I don't even CARE what I look like." when in reality they have obviously put a lot of work, thought and effort into NOT co-ordinating or whatever, so it totally makes a sham of their supposed "anything goes" principles. Fucking.. acting like they're the first generation of people to have discovered charity shops.. and they're the first people to ever have done what they're doing and it's so avant garde...

GAAAH. Every social group makes me angry. I wouldn't pigeon
