some people argue that octopii (shut up!) are the most intelligent sea creature even before dolphins as they have been filmed solving problems like navigating mazes and opening pickle jars (even girls can't do that!!!)

they also have razor sharp beaks that are proportional to the size of their body so a shark-sized octopus could probably do a helluva lot more damage to you than a shark if it wanted but they are more timid normally.
