Dodgy Place Along Riverside Drive

Right, you are travelling along Riverside Drive in the direction of Invergowrie and you have just passed the rail bridge with the car dealers on your left. The road carries on straight for a bit and then turns to the right where the wee truck stop/railway carriage bit is. Eventually it turns straight again to run parallel with the airport up ahead. Now just before it reaches this point the curve of the road runs beside a football playing field on your left with loads of goal posts in it. However, if you look beyond that there is a small, dirt road that runs on the opposite side of the field right next to the river.

My question is this:

Whats the fucking deal with all the cars that drive up that road at night? Everytime I have been near that area in the evening I always see loads of headlights travelling up and heading back down. I can't imagine it being a prostitute pick-up point as its fucking miles away and they usually hang around in town (not that would know anything about that :s ) so whats going on? Anyone know of anything?

You should hide in the bushes and find out whats going on.

I only said dogging because i know it goes on at camperdown, so it will no doubt happen in other places around Dundee.

I should probably set up a big lighting rig and PA system and wait for the cars to show up and set them off in a Jeremey Beadle fashion.

yeah, its people doggin. My mate went up there last week to sit at Riverside as she had a couple of ppl in the car and they were bored. They were sitting having a smoke and the car near them started flashing their lights and then the car came over to hers. Thats when she made a sharp exit.

I have a rough idea of what 'dogging' is but could someone explain exactly what it intails?

People meet up at spots and either watch people have sex, swing with other people, or have sex for others to watch. You do different things like flash your lights, turn on inside car light and others things as code for what you're there for. I'm scared that i seem to know about this.
