ive got an indoor aerial with a built in amplifier, works no bad most of the time, pretty much doubles the signal you get.

the only problems ive had is the sound on ITV4 and the E4 had some pixel madnesss...ive just moved the aerial and it seems a bit better now though

the reason everyone on perth road area gets no digital signal is cause they aint near a digital broadcasting areial. when the change over happens that will all be changed. infact it will change before that.

mike, if you a digi box that isnt freeview then the only reason it wouldnt work is because you aint got it set up right. or you are trying to steal it...wich is pretty much impossible.

noone on tay bridge side of the law should try use freeview.

Yes you can. If you can see the Lomonds, you can get freeview, point the ariel (is that spelt right?) at the Lomonds transmitter.
We have it, but we also have about two amplifiers to get a decent signal. Sometimes it goes a bit wonkey, but never for too long, and not on a regular basis.

really? whenever we've checked on the postcode website area checker thing it says freeview is not available in your area yet. hmm, i'll need to look into this

they say that so people dont buy a freeview box and then find out it dont work.

We do live out towards cuparmuir end of the town, so that's how we can get it. We had to get a new aerial installed by a TV guy so that we could though.
My Dad just couldn't sit back while the next door neighbour had freeview and he didn't.
Talk about keeping up with the Jones.
