I have vague memories of there being a record shop next to the bike shop opposite the old bus station/Prestos/Lidls when i started at Bell Baxter. Did it actually exist or am i making it up?

You're right, but it only sold crappy dance 12". It was part of a clothes shop if my memory serves correctly.
