Did anyone see it today? There were some fascinating insights into Global Warming from 9 year olds, including:

"If the Arctic and the ...uh... South melt, every--- everyone in the world is, is, eh gonna drown"

There was also a topic on why you can't sleep, which was related to the climate change topic-

"Climate change affects me so much that I can't sleep at night"
"When animals go extinct, it makes me unable to sleep"

and the ending was a classic, even by Newround standards-

"I can't sleep at night becuase my 2 brothers are too noisy!"

I get most of my information about the goings on of the world from Leezo Nazimba.
Did anyone see Newsround a few years ago when the presenter swore? It was during an item on these guys that tried to steal a big diamond from the millenium dome, it cut to a pre-filmed segment and the lass' mic was still on, she made a crap joke then said 'oh fuck' or something like that, promtly followed by 'technical difficulties'. It was unbelievably awesome but noone else I've talked to saw it.

For years I didn't know it was aimed at a younger audience. Although during those years I did smoke alot of grass.

the children that get interviewed are always really well spoken and well mannered. when i was 9 i didn't care about global warming, i cared about picking off scabs.

I'm busy applying for jobs in Calgary Zoo so I am unable to get my usual daily fix of Newsround.

The Press-Packers are lazy shits. You can so tell they're just reading a piece of paper written by the shows script-writers. And they get to do cool stuff.

I totally saw that!!! When the segment/clip bit came on she was speaking to the editor and was like ''what the fuck was that'' not realising they hadn't switched the sound yet and we could still hear her. I hate it when nobody else see's the awesome bits. She left and I think she went to news on 4...it was the woman with the short hair.

Newsround tells kids they're allowed opinions...so you get ''I like him cos he is nice and he has nice hair'' ''I like dogs and think it would be bad if it happened'' ''I think he was wrong cos it was bad''. Until your 14 your not allowed an opinion let alone one that will be expressed to other people in the public. Thats what parents are for, to listen to their dumb kids bullshit so we dont have to.

Neighbours however is awesome and thursdays episode made me laugh out loud more than once and I wasn't stoned.... right when I'm gonna give up hope they win me back.

best newsround interveiws i seen was when they were asking kids there opinion of christmas. Not sure what religion the kids were but everyone of them anwsered "i dont celebrate christmas but it looks nice."

how much of a bastard rub in is it to ask those poor kids such a thing! lol..
