I had a couple of friends round for drinks on Wednesday night and my purse (with everything in it) mysteriously went missing.
I have turned my house upside down looking for it so I know it's not here.
I asked my friend if she had seen it, as she was the last person near it.
(It was sitting on the computer desk and she had been checking her mail or something)
She got really offended and said I was accusing her of taking it.

Anyway, point is, today I checked her Bebo and she has a message from a girl whose house she was also at that night saying money has gone missing from her drawer. All seems a bit TOO suspicious to me. I'm just SO angry because I thought she was trustworthy.

But what can I do about it? Can I even call the police? It's not like I have proof it was her.
And now she has sent me a message saying she is 'going away' for a few days. Although this is probably just a lie, she's probably away having a great time with her stolen money!

Yeah well it's a given she is never getting into my house again.
And I know the money from my purse is probably long gone, I just want something done about her, but I guess I just have to learn from it and never be so trusting ever again.

Or get better friends.

me and the missus had to stop friends friends coming to parties because when we held them things always went missing. MP3 players, Cd's etc.

I'd just avoid her from now on. simple really. You dont need people like that.

Nah thank you all for cheering me up though. I've accepted that it's just a lesson learned and am just thankful there was nothing of great value in it. Could've been worse.

Never happened to me in my adult life, but my friends are all trustworthy. A DVD did go missing from my house once, but I'm about pretty sure I agreed to loan it out to someone during a party, I just don't remember who.

Don't loan out things when you're drunk kids!
